Tambourine

The Gappu Tambourine is a children's percussion instrument, designed for ages 3–10. It is not positioned as an adult performance instrument. Its lightweight frame and bright jingles make it ideal for early childhood music education and group rhythm activities.

The tambourine can be shaken in the hand to produce a continuous jingle, struck against the palm for sharper rhythmic accents, or tapped against the hip or thigh for a combined strike-and-jingle effect.

It builds foundational skills that support learning any instrument later such as steady beat, rhythmic subdivision, listening and group coordination. In a classroom setting it also develops turn-taking and following musical cues.

Yes. Effortless playability, light weight, and durable construction make it a standard choice for classroom percussion and group rhythm programmes. No instruction or setup required.
