Jambox Straps

Without the strap, playing the Jambox while standing requires holding it in one hand, leaving only one hand free to strike the instrument. The Jambox Strap allows you to wear the Jambox across your body: hands-free, so both hands are available to play the instrument with full two-handed technique while standing, walking, or performing on the move. It converts the Jambox from a one-handed portable
instrument into a fully playable two-handed percussion instrument for mobile performance.

The Jambox Strap attaches to the Gappu Jambox body and is worn across the shoulder or chest, similar in principle to a camera strap or instrument strap. Once fitted, the Jambox rests against the body at a natural playing angle, with both hands free to strike the tapa. The strap is adjustable to set the instrument at your preferred height and playing position.

Yes. The strap is fully adjustable to fit different body sizes and preferred playing positions, from children to adults. Set it once to your preferred position and it holds without slipping during performance.

The Gappu Jambox Strap is specifically designed for the Gappu Jambox. It is sized and fitted for the

No. If your primary use is seated home practice or sitting-down jam sessions, the Jambox can be rested on your lap or held in one hand without the strap. The strap becomes valuable when you want to stand, move, or busk - any performance context where portability and movement are part of how you play.
