The Gappu Castanets are a pair of hand-held percussion instruments that produce a sharp, articulate click when struck together. Traditionally used in Spanish flamenco and folk music, they are widely incorporated in contemporary world music, acoustic pop, dance performances, and percussion ensembles as a rhythmic accent instrument.

Castanets are attached to either side(s) of a cajon, with the included Velcro hook and loop fastener tape.
